About 23% of Avalon Beach is mapped as bush fire prone, mostly along Careel Creek. On those blocks the bush fire attack level (BAL) decides which boards, timbers and roofing can be used, so we check it before we quote.
Heritage
One heritage conservation area covers parts of Avalon Beach, including the Ruskin Rowe Heritage Conservation Area. The rules for building a deck or pergola without approval are stricter there, so we check your address first.
