Bush fire
None of the 20 suburbs is mapped as bush fire prone land.
Heritage
20 of the 20 suburbs include a heritage conservation area, among them Alexandria, Beaconsfield and Chippendale. The rules for building a deck or pergola without approval are stricter there, so we check your address first.
The land
The ground runs from near sea level to about 56 m above sea level, with Rushcutters Creek, Walsh Bay and Rushcutters Bay running through.
