Building in the Inner West: what we check

Council: Inner West Council, City of Canada Bay, Burwood Council, City of Sydney, Strathfield Council, City of Canterbury Bankstown, Cumberland City Council and City of Parramatta
Bush fire: None of the 49 suburbs is mapped as bush fire prone land.
Heritage: 37 of the 49 suburbs include a heritage conservation area, among them Annandale, Ashbury and Ashfield. The rules for building a deck or pergola without approval are stricter there, so we check your address first.
The land: The ground runs from near sea level to about 54 m above sea level, with the Cooks River, Iron Cove and Johnstons Bay running through.

“The boys nailed it! Built my deck out of engineered timber and the quality of work was fantastic. Job was done quick, site was left clean, etc. Would recommend!”

“I've found my new carpenter! Haz did a fabulous job of doing all new balustrading on my back deck. He was very precise with his fitting and measurements and also went out of his way to help me with 2 other little jobs I needed to do before selling my house. What he did for me was a tremendous help and I'm so grateful. Look no further than Haz. He is the kindest and the best!”

“I would recommend Timbaland to my friends, and would try to get them again if work later comes up. We got them to do our backyard deck. And Haz has been professional and easy to deal with from the beginning. He explains the work and his pricing really well. He’s efficient and his quality of work is very commendable. Extremely happy with their work.”
