“From the first conversation, Hamzeh and his team were honest and straightforward about what the job would involve and what it would cost - no surprises along the way.”

  • “I've found my new carpenter! Haz did a fabulous job of doing all new balustrading on my back deck. He was very precise with his fitting and measurements and also went out of his way to help me with 2 other little jobs I needed to do before selling my house. What he did for me was a tremendous help and I'm so grateful. Look no further than Haz. He is the kindest and the best!”

  • “I would recommend Timbaland to my friends, and would try to get them again if work later comes up. We got them to do our backyard deck. And Haz has been professional and easy to deal with from the beginning. He explains the work and his pricing really well. He’s efficient and his quality of work is very commendable. Extremely happy with their work.”

  • “Super advice and workmanship. Recommended a great composite fencing product. My courtyard never looked so good! Jordan, Raff and Hamzeh did a great job from start to finish and went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the end result. Ed, Redfern.”

Questions

What customers ask us

Do I need council approval for a pergola?

Not always. Many pergolas in NSW can be built as exempt development if they meet the State policy's limits on height, floor area, setbacks and where they sit on the lot. Pergolas outside those limits, or on heritage-listed or bush fire prone land, usually need a development application or a complying development certificate. We check before you commit.

Can a pergola go over an existing deck?

Usually. The pergola posts need their own footings rather than sitting on the deck boards, so we work out where they land before we start.
