Building a pergola in Rodd Point: what we check
We look at these at the measure, so the price you get is the price of the job.
Heritage
Rodd Point has no heritage conservation area, but 2 places are listed as heritage items. If your house is one, a pergola can need approval it otherwise wouldn't, so we check the listing first.
Approval
Many pergolas in NSW are exempt development when they meet the height, size and setback limits. We tell you at the measure whether yours does; if it doesn't, approval comes from the City of Canada Bay or a registered certifier.
