Before we quote
Building a deck in Cromer: what we check
We look at these at the measure, so the price you get is the price of the job.

Slope
Much of Cromer sits on a slope running down to South Creek and Wheeler Creek. A deck on a falling block needs deeper footings, bracing and often a balustrade, so we look at the fall of the ground before we price it.
Bush fire
About 55% of Cromer is mapped as bush fire prone, mostly along Wheeler Creek and South Creek. On a mapped block the bush fire attack level (BAL) decides which boards and framing a deck can use, so we check your address before we quote.
Heritage
Parts of Cromer are in a heritage conservation area, where a deck can need approval that it wouldn't elsewhere. We check your address and tell you before you commit.
Approval
Many decks in NSW are exempt development when they meet the height, size and setback limits. We tell you at the measure whether yours does; if it doesn't, approval comes from Northern Beaches Council or a registered certifier.

“The boys nailed it! Built my deck out of engineered timber and the quality of work was fantastic. Job was done quick, site was left clean, etc. Would recommend!”
