What we build
Decks we build in Ryde Area
From a small courtyard deck to a raised deck on a sloping block, with the stairs, balustrade and screen that finish it.

Decks we build
- 01
New decks
Ground-level and raised decks built from the footings up, with steps, landings and balustrades where the height calls for them.
- 02
Rebuilds and re-boarding
If the bearers and joists are sound, new boards can go over them. If they are not, we replace the frame and show you why.
- 03
Decks on sloping blocks
Raised and two-level decks that follow the fall of the land, on footings set for the slope.
- 04
Pool and spa decks
Decks around pools and in-ground spas, planned around the pool fence, the water and access to the equipment.
- 05
Side-passage and courtyard decks
Narrow or awkward spaces boarded so they can be used every day.

“The boys nailed it! Built my deck out of engineered timber and the quality of work was fantastic. Job was done quick, site was left clean, etc. Would recommend!”
Do I need council approval for a deck in NSW?
Not always. Many low decks are exempt development under the State policy, as long as they stay within its limits on floor area, height above ground and distance from the boundaries. A deck that is higher or larger, or on a heritage-listed or bush fire prone lot, usually needs a development application or a complying development certificate. We check this for your deck before you commit.
Can you re-board my deck instead of rebuilding it?
Often, yes. If the bearers, joists and footings are sound and the frame is level, new boards can go straight on. We test the frame when we measure. If some parts are rotten we replace just those where we can, and tell you plainly if the whole frame needs to go.
